Only start Mitchell if Pierce is officially ruled out — Mitchell only got extra snaps because Pierce was hurt and coaches have said he needs to earn chances after a costly fumble. Otherwise bench him and only use him in very deep leagues or if you want a risky, all-or-nothing play; watch the injury report for confirmation.

Pierce might miss Week 4 with a concussion, so Mitchell could get more deep targets against a Rams secondary that's missing a starter. Add Mitchell now as a bench pickup and only start him if Pierce is ruled out — if Pierce plays, keep him on the bench but he could still break a big play.

Draft him in the late rounds or grab him after the draft for your bench — don’t spend an early or middle pick or make him a starter. He looked very fast in camp and could have a big game, but he struggled catching last year and the Colts already have a crowded receiving group, so he’s risky.

Adonai Mitchell is a pretty interesting pickup late in your draft. He could surprise people and be a strong receiver, but you won't spend much to get him.
