Alvin Kamara

He’s the Saints’ main running back and should get most of the early carries and some catches, so I’d start him this week. That said, he got hardly any targets last game and the 49ers play slow, so if you have a back who catches a lot of passes you could sit him, and think about trading him later if someone offers good value.

Start Alvin Kamara — he should get most of the catches out of the backfield and Arizona was dead last at stopping running backs who catch passes. If your league gives points for each catch he’s a clear start, but if Spencer Rattler is the quarterback his rushing chances might be cut, so check the starter and snap reports before kickoff.

Draft him in the middle rounds. He catches a lot of passes so he usually gives steady points, but he's turning 30, has some injury history, and the Saints' offense and quarterback situation could keep him from big weeks — I'm a bit unsure.

Skip Alvin Kamara in your draft. He's losing his starting job to a younger back, and even a late pick is too much for what little he'll give you.
