He’s worth adding in most 12-team or bigger leagues because he suddenly got a lot more snaps after the trade, caught a touchdown, and showed he can make plays as a receiver. Keep him on your bench as a backup and try to grab him if you’re short at running back, but don’t start him unless Travis Etienne is hurt or not playing since Etienne still gets most of the work.
Tank Bigsby getting traded means Tuten is now the clear backup to Travis Etienne. Pick him up and keep him on your bench as insurance—he should see more snaps and goal-line/catching chances, but only start him if Etienne is hurt or you’re in a very deep league.
He’s got crazy speed, good college tape, and preseason flashes plus a new coach who likes to lift mid-round backs, so Tuten is worth stashing in dynasty, keeper, or deep leagues as a possible big-play piece behind Etienne and Bigsby. He’s still behind the usual starters and has had fumble concerns, so only pick him up in shallow leagues if you have bench space or if injury/news opens a role — starting him is risky unless a veteran is limited.
Grab him in the late rounds and hold him on your bench as a cheap gamble. He’s looked good in preseason and could get snaps if the starters slow down, but he’s had hamstring/practice issues and struggles with catching and pass blocking.
