Don't start Bryce Young this week β Atlanta has one of the best pass defenses and Carolina's hurt interior line means he'll face a lot of pressure. He's been up-and-down, has thrown several interceptions, and most of his points came from late-game runs or a few touchdowns, so only use him if you really have no better option.
Because he threw multiple interceptions and looked inconsistent in Week 1, donβt start Bryce Young in normal leagues right now. Keep him as a backup if youβre rebuilding or in leagues that start two quarterbacks, and see how he looks in Week 2 before changing anything.
Jacksonville lets quarterbacks throw and score a lot, so start him in Week 1 β he ran more and played better late last year, and a new coach and receiver should help the passing game. He's still a bit inconsistent and the sample is small, so if you already have a reliable QB you could sit him, but he's worth picking up or starting in deeper leagues.
Draft him in the late rounds β heβs a cheap QB who could heat up late if the line and receivers improve, but he can be inconsistent and prone to interceptions. If your league starts two quarterbacks, consider taking him a bit earlier.
