Start Dawson Knox — New England has been soft on tight ends and he’s a cheap play who could catch a touchdown. But his targets have been hit-or-miss since Dalton Kincaid started getting looks, so if you need a steady weekly score, stick with your safer tight end.

He’s splitting time with Dalton Kincaid and getting fewer looks, so he’s not a safe play right now. Only use him if your league has lots of teams or you have no other tight end option; otherwise bench him.

Knox is getting more snaps than Kincaid and looks to have Josh Allen’s trust, so he should see more catches and red-zone chances this week. Play him if you need a tight end, but check Friday’s injury reports and snap counts in case things change.

Draft him in the middle to late rounds. He should play about half the snaps and run most of the routes, so he’s a steady option with touchdown chances but probably won’t have a big year unless his role grows.
