He's cheap and getting only a few touches each game, so he's a decent low-cost fill-in when you don't have better options, but don't expect a big day since he's sharing the workload. Check the late snap and touch reports—if he sees more action or faces a weak defense, feel better about starting him.
Add Singletary in leagues that give points for catches — the Giants might use him more as a receiver to make up for some of Wan'Dale Robinson and Nabers' catches. In leagues that don’t give points for catches, keep him on your bench until practice reports and his first game show he’s being thrown to more.
He got only a few snaps and is being used mostly on short-yardage plays, so don't start him in regular lineups. Keep him as a bench backup and only use him if your starter is injured or you need a long-shot touchdown chance.
Draft him in the late rounds as a bench running back or insurance for your starter. He should get real work early after filling in for an injured teammate, but he'll share carries and probably won't score much, so don’t pick him earlier.
