He played almost every snap and tied for the team lead in targets in Week 1 and now faces a Miami defense that’s been weak against tight ends, so start him this week. The only danger is if his targets dry up — then his fantasy points fall fast.

Start him in Week 1 — the Raiders are one of the worst teams at stopping tight ends. He’s Drake Maye’s primary target and gets lots of looks near the goal, so you can grab him easily in bigger leagues and expect steady points with a shot at a big score if he finds the end zone.

Draft him in the late rounds as a cheap tight end who should give steady points and some touchdown help. He led the team in targets and red-zone looks and gets his old coach back, but new wide receivers and age/health make big seasons unlikely.

Draft him in the late rounds only as a backup tight end, not your starter. He should get goal-line work and a few scores, but new top receivers will cut his catches and chances, so only grab him if he’s a cheap late pick and you want depth or a shot at a touchdown.
