He’s the team’s main running back, getting lots of carries and catches lately, and New England often lets running backs catch short passes. Start him this week, especially if your league gives points for catches, though trading him for safer long-term value is reasonable later.
Start Jaylen Warren — he’s expected to get the most work and catch passes, so he’s the likeliest scorer among Pittsburgh’s backs. If your league doesn’t give points for catches or you have a safer running back, sit him and watch Week 2 practice reports and early snaps; I’d lean to starting him but I’m only about 60% sure.
The team gave him a new contract and the coach said he's the lead back, so he should get plenty of carries and catching chances. The Jets are weak against those plays, so despite a small chance of split duties or weird goal-line calls, start him in most lineups for Week 1.
Draft him in the middle-to-late rounds. He catches passes and could be a handy backup who becomes a starter if he gets more carries, but he shares snaps with a rookie and hasn’t had many runs before.
