Mitchell Tinsley

Add Tinsley as a backup because he drew nine targets from Joe Burrow and would get a lot more work if Tee Higgins misses time. He's worth a pick in deep leagues or if you can stash him on your bench, but skip him in shallow leagues unless you have the space since his value drops if Higgins is healthy.

He got extra targets and scored a touchdown while Ja'Marr Chase was out, so he might get more chances if the Bengals have more injuries. He hasn't played much and could lose that role when starters return, so only pick him up in bigger leagues or if you have a free bench spot and want a cheap gamble on touchdowns.

He only had one short touchdown on his only catch, and it came late with a backup quarterback — there’s no sign he’ll get regular targets. Don’t start him in normal or shallow leagues; only keep him on a very deep bench as a long shot and watch if he starts getting multiple targets or if the usual receivers miss time.

Draft him in the late rounds only, or wait and pick him up after the draft if he looks good in preseason. He’s getting praise but is unproven and might not make the team, so don’t spend a middle-round pick on him.
