Quentin Johnston

Grab Johnston — he played almost every snap in Week 1, caught several throws and two scores, and the Chargers pass a lot so he should keep getting chances. Make him a top pickup if you can; if he’s already on your team, he can start as a risky flex when he’s getting targets, but check how many throws he’s getting before you lock him in.

Start Johnston — he finished last year strong, had two touchdowns in the opener, and the Chargers should throw enough for him to get chances. He can be inconsistent and might get fewer looks if Keenan Allen plays a lot, so check the matchup and Allen’s health before kickoff.

Draft him in the late rounds, not early. He had a preseason concussion and faces a crowded receiving group so he might miss time or see fewer catches early, but he did more in Year 2 and can have big weeks when healthy.

I'd grab Johnston in the middle rounds if you're looking for a receiver who could surprise people. He missed some time last year, but when he played, he was really involved in getting the ball and scoring touchdowns. His situation looks better this year, and the fact that he's available later in the draft makes him a fun gamble.
