📅 Weekly Recommendation History

Week 3Sit
Sep 20

He's been getting almost no targets and the quarterback situation is messy, so I'd sit Hockenson this week. Only start him if you have no better option and reports show he's getting more looks or Wentz is playing, since Addison coming back will cut into his catches.

Week 2Start
Sep 14

He’s playing almost every snap and should see more throws with Addison out and Oliver maybe sidelined, so start Hockenson if you need someone who can score big. But the new quarterback might use him more as a blocker and the Falcons have been tough on tight ends, so only sit him if you have a steadier option and double-check Oliver’s injury and the QB’s game plan before kickoff.

Week 1Start
Sep 06

With Minnesota’s top receiver suspended and another just returning, Hockenson should get a lot of looks early, so start him in Week 1 — the Bears often give tight ends room and might be missing a key linebacker. He did deal with injuries last year and could see fewer chances once the receivers are healthy, but if he’s available you should pick him up now.

Week 0High
Aug 29

Draft him in the middle rounds. He should be a solid weekly starter in a good offense and could see more catches early if Jordan Addison misses time — he’s coming off knee surgery but looks ready to play.
