He’s been on the field almost every play and getting the most targets, so grab him now. In 12-team or deeper leagues you can start him as your third receiver, but expect some week-to-week swings and only spend a moderate amount (about 8–15% of your free-agent budget) to get him.
He’s worth adding because he played a lot, caught several passes, and already looks comfortable with the Broncos’ new quarterback. Pick him up in most leagues but only start him in deeper ones or keep him on your bench until he gets another week of targets — check his snaps and targets next week before making him a regular starter.
He’s worth grabbing in big or dynasty leagues because he’s fighting for the Broncos’ second receiver job and coaches are saying good things about him. In 12-team-or-deeper leagues or leagues that start three receivers, add him to your bench now; in smaller 10-team leagues, wait to see his Week 1 snaps since camp praise doesn’t always mean game-day chances.
Late rounds only — grab him as a bench long shot, not in the early or middle rounds. Coaches like him and he could be better next year, but he did little as a rookie and new players like Pat Bryant plus Evan Engram and vets will cut into his chances.
