Will Dissly

The Chargers are splitting passes at tight end, so Dissly probably won't see many catches and should sit if Michael Mayer is available. If Mayer isn’t an option and you have no better choices, you can start Dissly but don’t expect many points.

He hardly gets targets, so don’t trust him as a regular starter. Only pick him up as a short-term fill-in if Bowers gets hurt or you just need Chargers coverage for Monday night.

He finished last season getting a bunch of looks from Justin Herbert, but the team adding another tight end will probably steal some of those looks and cut into his chances, especially near the goal line. Keep him on your bench in season-long leagues and use him as a cheap week-to-week play in daily fantasy, but don’t start him over established tight ends until preseason games and early-season playing time make the pecking order clear.

Skip Will Dissly in most drafts; he’s not worth a normal pick. Only grab him in the very late rounds or after the draft if your league is huge and you need depth.
